Arriving by plane to Oregon on Saint Patrick’s day, I returned to the Pacific Northwest in early spring after travelling from suburbs West of Chicago, Illinois. Here’s a collection of fifty photos celebrating life in Oregon throughout an awakening season of spring. Locations include the Broadway bridge and NW Broadway in Portland (multiples of a staircase reminding me of that from Murakami’s 1Q84), Compound Gallery, Hood River, Mosier, Stevenson, Pfriem Family Brewers, Twin Tunnels Historic Highway, an upstarting vineyard in Mosier, Skamania Lodge, Indian Creek Golf Course, the Johnson’s estate, Cebu Louge, Rowena, Hood River DGC, Mark Hatfield West Visitor Center, Hood River Farmer’s Market and the Portland International airport. The timespan of this album dates from mid-March until the second week in June.
