Kiteboarding at Floras Lake in Oregon is a thrill, and even in October still not too chilly! This fresh water lake bed was once planned to be the site of a future Port to the Pacific, the ocean just over the dunes along its western flank.

The camping sites, park hosts and surrounding natural attractions are spectacular. My second kiteboarding mission there was a success, I’ve been really looking forward to that since first visiting there in 2014. Thanks Floras!
